Windows 8 was the first desktop operating system to introduce touch capability. The later editions like Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, after it also comes with touch plus some additional or extended features. For the touch screen to work properly, you must have a latest touch hardware drivers installed. While there are also few other things which we need to care about.
In the latest Windows 10, the touch keyboard can be activated by right click over taskbar and selecting
Show Touch Keyboard button option.
Using the touch keyboard button, the touch-keyboard can be accessed.
Consider a scenario, that you have a Windows 8 or later running touch supported operating system. But when you use the touch keyboard to input something, either the buttons are not very large or not fit to the screen ,
For such a trouble, you can try following steps to fix:

1. Press
Windows Key + R combination, type
regedit in
Run dialog box and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor.
2. Navigate here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Scaling
3. At this registry location and in the right pane of above shown window, look for the
MonitorSize named registry string. Please note that this registry key is not available in non-touch based computers. The incorrect Value data for the MonitorSize registry string is the root cause behind this issue. Double click on same string to modify it:
4. Finally, in the Edit String box, put a decimal data such as 22.5. Click OK. Close Registry Editor, reboot and your problem should be fixed after restarting machine.
