Microsoft today announced that Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (version 1709) is now available for all compatible devices running Windows 10 worldwide. This means that Microsoft has completed the rollout of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

Back in October last year, Microsoft first started the roll-out of Fall Creators Update. Initially, they released it to devices which they believe will have the best update experience. Based on the feedback related to application and device compatibility, Microsoft made changes along the way so that subsequent set of users receiving the update will have even better experience.

Microsoft today announced that the Fall Creators Update was the fastest Windows 10 release to reach 100M devices. Not only that, it also received the higher customer satisfaction ratings compared to previous Windows 10 updates.

For enterprise deployments, PCs running Windows 10 Enterprise edition or Windows 10 Pro edition that is configured with automatic Windows Update will be offered Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, version 1709 after January 18, 2018. Of course, if you are running long-term servicing editions of Windows 10, this is not applicable to you.
