Recently, ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) itself has recently announced the global internet will be shut down over the next 48 hours and not only that as this whole procedure could also simply affect all the internet users around the world.

WARNING!!
The ENTIRE Internet Will Be SHUTDOWN

In Die Hard 4.0, the fourth chapter of the saga Die Hard released almost a decade ago, Bruce Willis faces a hacker who manages to create the so-called Chaos Total, an attack that does fall all infrastructures of the country and therefore creates a financial, health, social chaos, etc. But what was a film may become a reality now.

As the terrible forecast comes directly from the ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) a nonprofit organization responsible for coordinating the maintenance and procedures of several databases related to the namespaces and numerical spaces of the Internet, ensuring the network’s stable and secure operation. According to the latest reports, the entire Internet network will be disconnected over the next 48 hours.

Nobody in the world can access any part of the Internet that will be dropped completely and “if the internet goes down, the financial markets will collapse,” he adds the security expert, outlining that it is not a simple prediction, but based on a large number of events that have occurred throughout the year 2016 and 2017.

As ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) itself has scheduled the Root Zone Key Signing Key (KSK) Rollover for today which could simply affect some DNS users from all over the world.

However, this new procedure simply implies that a new cryptographic public and the private key pair will be generated, as the private key will be issued to ISPs (internet service providers), Domain Name System (DNS) resolver operators and enterprise network administrators.

Moreover, the well-known nonprofit organization responsible for coordinating the maintenance and procedures of several databases related to the namespaces and numerical spaces of the Internet, ensuring the network’s stable and secure operation, of course, ICANN itself has announced that the rollover has been postponed simply due to the significant number of resolvers used by ISPs and Network Operators are not yet ready for the Key Rollover.

Hence, in an official statement, the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) stated that “some internet users might be affected if their network operators or Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have not prepared for this change. However, this impact can be avoided by enabling the appropriate system security extensions”. So, what do you think about this? Simply share all your views and thoughts in the comment section below.
