Windows 10 November 2019 Update is now available
« on: November 12, 2019, 07:36:55 PM »
We reported that the Windows 10 November 2019 Update would be arriving this week, and as expected Microsoft has just kicked off the rollout of the second feature upgrade for Windows 10.

If you open the Settings app and check for updates, the November 2019 Update should show up. However, Microsoft could be taking a throttled approach to the rollout and the update might not be available to everyone initially.

It’s also worth noting that Microsoft won’t be forcing users to download and install the update today itself. You will have to manually click on ‘Download and install’ now option to begin the upgrade to Windows 10 version 1909.

The idea is to make the update ready for everyone and slowly increase the level of availability.

Those on May 2019 Update should be able to download and install the November 2019 Update within 10 minutes, while the update will take several minutes on PCs with older versions of the OS.

If you want the update right now, simply click on the Start button, and head to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and finally click on Check for updates. After checking for updates, another update will appear that will allow you to download the November 2019 Update.

If you don’t see it, it’s possible that your machine isn’t ready yet, and you should wait or look for new drivers. However, eventually, the update will be automatically pushed to PCs.

With Windows 10 November 2019 Update, Microsoft is aiming to address the concerns for those who may be more nervous about installing new feature updates.

What’s new and improved

Windows 10 version 1909 is not a big release but it comes with plenty of decent improvements that are worth checking out. For example, installing this feature update should improve the performance of PCs with Intel and AMD processors as it implements a new rotation policy for favored cores.

Similarly, the update improves the notifications and as well as the overall battery life of some PCs.
