Title: Comparing the Specs of the iPhone 7 with the Microsoft Lumia 950
Post by: riso on September 09, 2016, 05:24:26 PM
Apple and Microsoft have long since been rivals in the technology space, if not in hardware – but also in software. As such, Apple’s new hardware invites comparison with Microsoft’s own hardware competing in the same space – the headphone jack wielding, USB type-c toting, Continuum capable Lumia 950. While Microsoft’s Lumia 950 may be a little long in the tooth at this stage, it’s still a decently specced handset that can be found for just over a £200 with all the perks that Windows 10 Mobile offers. With that in mind, let’s see how it compares with the new Apple iPhone 7.
Spec Comparison:

As can be seen from the quick comparison, on the basis of pure specs alone, Apple’s iPhone 7 competes very favourably with Microsoft’s Lumia 950, but specs can only take us so far. iOS 10 and Windows 10 offer vastly different experiences, integrate with different ecosystems and offer such different apps thayt in the end – it comes down to personal preference. If you’re looking for a reliable phone that does it all, the iPhone 7 can work for you, and Microsoft’s apps and services are all present on iOS, ready to be downloaded. If you’re willing to live on the edge and or simply prefer a basic phone with some advanced features, that won’t break the bank, the Lumia 950 may just be up your alley.
