As we all know, there is a dedicated button to take screenshots, on almost every keyboard, the Print Screen. The button is usually found between F12 and Scroll Lock and sometimes can differ with respect to the make.

The only problem with the above method is that it will capture the entire display, which means a second monitor too. But, if needed we could also capture just the active window alone and here is the way to do that.

► The combination you’ll have to use here is, Alt + PrtScr. After hitting the combo, paste it into the Paint or any other tool of your choice. And now, the screenshot of a specific window is ready.
