Some users are reporting issues with the People Hub in Windows 10.

The application is the repository of your email addresses, phone numbers and other contact information, and gained more prominence in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update with Microsoft’s new My People feature, which lets you pin regular contacts to your taskbar for quick access.

It seems this may have caused an issue at Microsoft’s back end, as some users are reporting having their contacts disappear from the People Hub and their accounts unlinking.

A Redditor reports (http://www.reddit.com/r/windowsphone/comments/79bq86/microsoft_people_app_on_windows_10_mobile_is/):

I went to bed last night with all my contacts. When I woke up I only had 4. I haven’t done anything different with my phone lately so they just disappeared overnight.

My Calendar was completely blank too. Doing the Synchronize option doesn’t fix anything. When I log onto the web I can see all my contacts, emails, and calendar events.

After 3 hours of trying to figure out what was wrong everything just magically came back. Go figure…

I talked to my dad he had issues with his Microsoft account on his phone this morning too.

As suggested above, if missing your contacts have not actually been deleted, but are just having difficulty making it down to your PC.

The solution is to visit the settings in the account area of the app and then forcing a sync.

Do this tapping on the Settings icon >  Right Clicking on the account affected and clicking Synchronise.

This is, of course, a temporary solution and the main resolution would be for Microsoft to address any back-end issues.
