6.1.7600.16385.090713-1255

The branch builds WIN7_RTM:. 6.1.7600.16384.win7_rtm.090710-1945 - possible FINAL RTM build.

We can confirm that the assembly actually 6.1.7600.16385.090713-1255 opportunities, but at the moment the tag 16385 - this is just WDK, have left the system over the last 16384 tag that is itself a system with such a tag 7600.16385 - have not yet met !

Prior to the signing of the (sign-off) RTM builds of the branch WIN7_RTM their tags can be changed with the advent of new assemblies. It is naive to believe that was the final release will be the first assembly in the final series of legislative assemblies 7600.WIN7_RTM.

When the audit of the code will stop and will then finally assembled a single-tion "gold code" Windows 7, and then in the final assembly of all WIN7_RTM we'll see something like this build: 7600.18000, 7600.19000, or this. But even when the resulting code is given PC manufacturers that is still possible OEMschikam audit RTM code, because the assembly of multiple signatures, the final signature (sign-off) will end on 31 August and 1 September, it has given subscribers via MSDN and TechNet.

This in no way will affect the quality of products delivered to manufacturers of new PC because all changes made to the system once the producers get assembled after July 24 will be available through Windows Update, as new sales of PCs preloaded with Windows 7 will start from 22 October.

To download or not to download...

Finally got 7600.16384 x64 up and running, so I think I'll skip this build.
There's no place like 127.0.0.1

i installed this build adn it ran great adn first thing i noticed was the option to select what verwion i wanted installed. once i got 7 fully installed and started installing drivers i came across the same problem i have had with builds after 7100. my webcam dont work. i have a lifecam vx-6000 and it says driver compatabilty problem and that the driver will not start. so when this does finely make it to rtm and on my computer i hope they get the webcam drivers problem solved.

there was no expiration date in winver and the watermark was removed from the lower right corner.

What method do you use for activation.

My version of 16384 has no water mark before activation, but water mark shows up after.

There were a report after 2nd boot the water marks showed up.  Do your still runs fine?

My version of 16385 had no watermark at first install.
2nd Reboot later, Water mark showed. Evaluation copy.
after 2reboot, i also check Winver it still have not evaluation date...(16384) did not either.
If you check your license via cmd(run as admin) wait for popup.
slmgr.vbs -dlv wait for popup.
mine shows 29 days and counting, 4 Rearms, and Evaluation date of 6-01-2010.
IMHO this is not Final RTM.
The only STUPID Question is the one you never asked.

this might sound funny but maybe the evaluation watermark showed up because since you are not activated not have a product key it is actually a evaluation copy. you have a 30 day grace period to put in a key and activate teh software. and since there are 4 rearms maybe that last date the software can be used without activation is 6-1-10.

me i never tried to activate because i mainly installed it to see if my webcam problem that started to show up after the 7100 build. and i had restarted it several times and no watermark.

Surely, the date comes back because you are activating it using a RC key and not a RTM key? Also, I'm guessing the watermark comes back because of the same thing. Surely this is why the date is coming back AFTER you enter the RC key?

Has anyone tried this and seen any differences from the previous build? Just installed all my stuff, so don't really want to do it all again, haha.

It seems that the "old patch" info was not over written when I upgraded Vista SP2 -> 7264 to final RTM.
Once the old patch info was removed, and replaced with the proper Items. Reboot, and All Evaluation Info was gone.
Yes, currently it shows NO EVALUATION DATE IN -DLV.

So it seems if a KEY is entered, an Accepted but not REAL then you get Evaluation date. or the KEY is REFUSED>
The only STUPID Question is the one you never asked.

If you got so hung up on one driver problem I do agree with you and even suggest to you that you should not play with Windows 7 until it is on the market for some times.

I started with almost the 1st born of Windows 7,  Not only the WebCAM not working, BT mouse not working, my built-in Ricoh Card slots in my VAIO not working and even the nVidia graphic driver had problems....  Software-wise, I don't dare to install too many, one of my favorite program for free SMS was not working and headaches or surprises left and right.  As newer updated versions keep coming (leaking), it continue solved  problems and I had been eager to download and install newer versions even though each update cost a day or two.  I have a full stacks of Windows 7 DVD's and given up many sleeping hours.

I was surprised by Windows 7 faster than my Windows XP-SP3 in the same machine.  Windows 7 is also smarter, it finds the right drivers, easier to locate programs or files.  Its learning curve is much better than Vista. Every version I choose the upgrade mode, adding more software and now my Windows 7 drive is over 23Gig of stuffs.

I just hope MS will give us a path just to upgrade the OS installation without have to re-install all the software from scratch with the final version.  I really don't mind to pay them for the software.

P.S.  I installed a Vista Webcam driver for my VAIO, all the sudden, my Skype can show my video.

like i mentioned everything after 7100 i have had webcam driver. i understand what you are saying and i did not use win 7 till daemon tools came out with there latest with the new stpd or whatever it is called because i have a few game backups that make it easier to use that way instead of digging the disk out every time.

after i read a few things about how we are getting copys of newer builds it explained to me why the drivers might not work correctly. simply because we are using a iso image that is not direct from microsoft. we have been getting a image where the install files are transfered over to a older build and repackaged. so who knows what can happen. seems the best downloads i have are the ones i get directly from microsoft.

Re: 7600.16385.090713-1255 Registration different from 16384
« Reply #17 on: July 22, 2009, 07:58:29 AM »
Folks, registration trick worked with 7600.16384 does not work with 7600.16385

I did not see obvious difference in performances or features between the two (I stand for correction), other than ego issue, I would suggest stay with 16384.

If anyone has a good way to register 16385, please let us know.

With the Tool kit 1.8 finally I get mine activated.
No Watermark.
Can't find the expiration date.

Mine is 64bit version. :)
