Computex 2012: CZC U116T Ultrabook Hybrid to debut
« on: May 30, 2012, 03:28:06 AM »

Computex 2012 will be one hell of an event, especially if it includes such cool gadgets as the CRZ U116T, an ultrabook with hybrid features. This model was made by Chinese manufacturer CZC Tech and we’re dealing with a device that adopts the Transformer styling from ASUS and integrates a 13.3 inch display.

It has an Ivy Bridge CPU and HD 4000 graphics, 4GB of RAM and your choice of SSD storage. On the connectivity side you get SB 2.0 and 3.0, plus a memory card slot, audio jacks and SIM Card slot. There’s even a fingerprint scanner, if you’re the paranoid type. All the technology is found in the display component, while the detachable keyboard brings only an extra battery, once again like the ASUS Transformer models.

Sadly, this is not an Android device, but rather a Windows 7 model, that doesn’t yet have a price or availability. We’ll learn more about it at Computex 2012, but for now I’m glad to see that this slate/ultrabook supports 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and has both WiFi and 3G Connectivity. Sadly, the inclusion of Windows 7 and those cool components means that the price could be obscene…
