ReplyReply utilizes Internet Explorer 11's pre-render tag to offer faster end-to-end search experience

In an official Bing Search blog post today, Microsoft has revealed that those who search on using Internet Explorer 11 will experience a faster search. This is thanks to Bing's utilization of Internet Explorer 11's pre-render tag.
"Today we are introducing an improvement available for Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) that helps you accomplish your search tasks even faster. The next time you perform a search in Bing using IE11, you’ll notice that when you click on the top result, the associated page is almost instantly rendered," Microsoft stated in an official blog post.
Ultimately, this allows Internet Explorer 11 to automatically download and render the top Bing search result page in the background. This process does not eat unnecessary bandwidth nor does it kill your battery life. Microsoft is promising a "faster end-to-end search experience" with this new feature.
Microsoft believes that pre-rendering the first result on the search results page is crucial since half of people who search are usually clicking on the first result. As Microsoft states, "pre-rendering that page is an important addition in our quest to improve the overall task completion time."
Head over to using Internet Explorer 11 to give this a try.
