Still not sure whether or not Windows 7 is a good fit for your workplace? Missed out on the RC download and wish you had something you could evaluate? You're in luck. Microsoft has made a 90-day trial download of Windows 7 Enterprise available. You can download the ISO image now.

This is the RTM version, not the RC. What you're downloading is the same OS that will be available for purchase in a couple of months. Both the 32 and 64-bit versions are available, and you don't have to be a member of TechNet, MSDN, the Partner Program, or have a Software Assurance agreement. This evaluation release is specifically intended for IT professionals responsible for desktop administration; consumers will be able to purchase Windows 7 on October 22, 2009. ◦Following the 90 day evaluation period, IT Pros who wish to continue to use Windows 7 Enterprise will be required to purchase and perform a clean installation of Windows 7, including drivers and applications.
◦Windows 7 Enterprise Edition 90-Day Trial is the final Released-to-Manufacturing (RTM) version of Windows 7 Enterprise Edition. This is the same software that is available to Volume Licensing (VL) through Software Assurance (SA) and is feature-complete.
◦Windows 7 Enterprise 90-Day Trial is available in English, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese in both 32 and 64 bit versions.

I have an original Key... so that one is NOT to share, sorry.

But for the fooks who want to cheat a bit I found this at the Russian site WZOR so try that!

Here is the translated version of the article:
Quote
Surprisingly for Microsoft, but the long-awaited and cvershivshimsya fact a "hacking" corporate client activation products: Windows 7 Professional / Enterprise Volume License.
Now, anyone can activate on-line as well as off-line corporate distributions of Windows 7 Professional / Enterprise.
Releases Corporate versions of WZT:
MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.7.PROFESSIONAL.RTM.X86.VOLUME.OE M.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT
MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.7.PROFESSIONAL.RTM.X64.VOLUME.OE M.ENGLISH.DVD-WZT
MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.7.ENTERPRISE.RTM.X86.VOLUME.OEM. ENGLISH.DVD-WZT
MICROSOFT.WINDOWS.7.ENTERPRISE.RTM.X64.VOLUME.OEM. ENGLISH.DVD-WZT
and other corporate versions .....
There are two ways to activate the corporate versions, the first, he is on-line method:
Activate Windows 7 Professional / Enterprise Volume using the key management service (KMS) obtained in the public network ie internet.
It's enough to know the IP address of KMS server, port services and the time zone UTC this KMS server.
These "public" KMS server, you can easily find a number of well-known forums, and more, all just in the command prompt give the command:
1) slmgr.vbs-ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX - serial numbers below.
2) slmgr.vbs-skms adres.kms.servera: port jericho.dlinkddns.com: 1688 UTC +3
3) slmgr.vbs-ato
and all this will give you 180 days of the system since the last validation for KMS activation server.

Microsoft Windows 7 KMS Client Setup Keys:

Windows 7 Professional - FJ82H-XT6CR-J8D7P-XQJJ2-GPDD4
Windows 7 Professional N - MRPKT-YTG23-K7D7T-X2JMM-QY7MG
Windows 7 Enterprise - 33PXH-7Y6KF-2VJC9-XBBR8-HVTHH
Windows 7 Enterprise N - YDRBP-3D83W-TY26F-D46B2-XCKRJ
Windows 7 Enterprise E - C29WB-22CC8-VJ326-GHFJW-H9DH4
Windows Server 2008 R2 HPC Edition - FKJQ8-TMCVP-FRMR7-4WR42-3JCD7
Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter - 74YFP-3QFB3-KQT8W-PMXWJ-7M648
Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise - 489J6-VHDMP-X63PK-3K798-CPX3Y
Windows Server 2008 R2 for Itanium - GT63C-RJFQ3-4GMB6-BRFB9-CB83V
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard - YC6KT-GKW9T-YTKYR-T4X34-R7VHC
Windows Web Server 2008 R2 - 6TPJF-RBVHG-WBW2R-86QPH-6RTM4

Second, it is local or off-line method of activation based on a virtual image of key management service KMS. This VMWare image is already available in the torrent networks, for example, we have: VMWARE KMS VIRTUAL SERVICES IN 25 REQUEST FOR ACTIVATION WIN7 ENTERPRISE VOLUME EDITION RU_BOARD or here already "nakruchennym" counter request activation. Using this virtual server, you can activate the system without leaving the Internet. Instructions can also be found on the well-known for the IT community forums.
And so today, there are at least five ways to activate Windows 7, the fifth method does not require any technical skills but it is associated with the notion of "decency" user. Shall list each of these methods

1. Three-activation with the need to physically pereproshit BIOS PC with a view to implementation in the latest BIOS SLIC 2.1 table.
This method is good for those who know what to do, and not acceptable to everyone else, it allows you to activate any version of Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2 which provides for the use of OEM-SLP keys for the off-line activation are lyami-end systems!
Minus is that if you do not know what to do, you can ruin a motherboard that will lead to the need to contact the service or specialist, the second negative is that at this time, there is only one in all the OEM-SLP key.

2. Three-activation without the need for a PC BIOS firmware. In this case, the table is emulated SLIC 2.1 under load and the plant on the PC operating system in the process of downloading.
This method is good for those who can not or do not want proshivat your BIOS for older PCs or PCs with no place SLIC table in BIOS.
Less of this method is obvious, with the output SP1 Microsoft blocks key gathering activation!
Today, I still recommend to use this promoter Windows Se7en Activation Installer (x86 & x64).

3. ON-LINE KMS activation. An easy and convenient way to activate the corporate-governmental version of Windows 7 Professional / Enterprise. Negative, there is no way to activate the Home and Ultimate versions, with the last resort to KMS service you only have 180 days after that will be required to run a command activation. If the public service will not activate, then again need to seek a public address KMS service.

4. OFF-LINE KMS activation through virtualized services KMS activation.
Disadvantages: you download a virtual image of KMS service, install VMware station, and must be advanced user of IT.

5. Activating RETAIL, OEM.NON-SLP versions on the phone.
This method is not possible to compare at all to any other method of activation, are simply brilliant, "audacity" and confident voice helps to activate any or RETAIL OEM.NON-SLP key is a simple call to the service activation Microsoft. Main zasvechennye not know the license number on the internet, as well, such is very much after 22 October. The thing is that the telephone service activations Microsoft has no protection against this type of fraud and is in good faith users of the system, and at night at all working robot.
In Microsoft, there is no way other than how to believe in the word that sold tie-ing RETAIL, OEM.NON-SLP license to a specific caller to the service activation by a person. I warn, it is not legitimate, even though all five modes of activation is a complete scam!

Further information on the MAC keys, and the KMS service activation:

What is a multi-activation?
Multiplayer activation - is Product Activation, which was first introduced in Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. It allows customers to volume licensing programs to automate the process of asset vatsii and make it the most transparent to end users.
Multi-activation is applied to systems in which the spread of corporate licensing program is being used solely as a means of activation, and in no way related to the cost of licensing or billing for them.

Multi-activation offers two different models of an activation. The first model - a service key management (KMS), and the second - Multiple Activation Key (MAK).
The service enables organizations to manage the keys to activate the system within your network, and multiple activation key is used to activate one of the use of available services enable Microsoft.
Customers can use one or both of these types of keys to activate the systems in their environment.

What is Multiple Activation Key (MAK)?
Multiple Activation Key (MAK) requires a single connection to the server computers activate Microsoft. After a further activation of computers exchange data with Microsoft is not required. For key MAK There are 2 methods of activation:
- Non activation of MAK. Every computer connected to the self-Microsoft Web site on the Internet or by telephone for an activation.

Proxy activation of MAK. This method uses an asset management tool-house corporate licenses (VAMT).

Performing centralized activation request on multiple computers through one treatment to Microsoft via the Internet or by telephone. This enables IT professionals to automate the process mnogopolzova measurements of activation and centrally manage them through key MAK. In addition, a means of activating the corporate management of licenses is part of a package of automatic installation of Windows (WAIK), which enables organizations to configure and deploy Windows.
Setting corporate key multiple installations may allow the KMS server once to activate your service by Microsoft, and then serve an activation request in the client. By default, the server
KMS service tries to register the resource information using the SRV record for the primary DNS server the primary domain and a DNS system.

How do I know which keys should be used?
Switches products of both types (KMS and MAK) are applied to groups of products (eg, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2), and not to the individual releases of operating systems (eg, Windows 7 corporate, Windows 7 professional, Windows Server 2008 Enterprise, Windows Server 2008 Standard).
For each group of Windows client products, there is only one key and one key MAK KMS.
Below are the three groups (A, B, C) product key for Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2:

Windows Server 2008 R2 - Key KMS using the same hierarchy (groups A, B, C), that for Windows Server 2008. The most important difference is that the keys KMS Windows Server R2 can be used to activate the host KMS, which in turn activates the Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

MAK product keys are linked directly with one group of issues and can activate Windows, included in this specific group of products. For example, if you purchased a license for Windows Server 2008 Enterprise, for the activation of these
systems need to use multiple activation key associated with Windows Server 2008 Enterprise (MAK B). Multiple Activation Key for Windows Server 2008 Datacenter (MAK C) in this case does not fit.
Similarly, multiple activation key for Windows 7 is not suitable for Windows Vista.
KMS keys are different from the activation of the existence of multiple key hierarchy.
For example, if there is a license for the production of Windows Server 2008 Datacenter R2 and Standard, in order to activate the KMS host must use the key associated with
product Datacenter (KMS C). After this service of key management will be able to activate the computer running the operating system Windows Server 2008 Datacenter R2, and Windows Server 2008 Standard R2.

Which method should be used to activate the virtual machines?
To activate the virtual machines can be used as a key MAK, and key KMS. However, KMS is the preferred method if it can be implemented in your environment. With each activation of a computer using MAK keys reduces the number of activations. This applies both to natural and virtual computers.
Note: Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 with Service Pack 2 (SP2) and release of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2: Virtual machines is calculated, the maximum value of which is the threshold for activation of KMS.

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, version 1.1, and Windows 7 supports the deployment of KMS in a virtual by computer. Each node KMS key can be used to customize up to six physical or virtual nodes KMS.

What happens if we do not activate their computers?
Activation is designed in such a way that the process was transparent to users. If the activation is not completed within given grace period (usually 30 days), the computer switches to the notice.
In this mode, the user sees a reminder to activate when you log into the system, as well as notification to the Center. In addition, a black background of your desktop. No other restrictions are not!

ЦЯ.
I found the batch script at http://pastebay.com/40289. The batch will activate Enterprise versions of Windows 7 using KMS servers instead of using the VMware image.
Quote

Perhaps you're skilled enough to understand and implement this all above, succes.

I do not see an issue with installing W7 Enterprise Edition on a 3rd partition.  be sure there is enough room for the OS, Software and update as they are released.  If you need to recover hard drive space, turn off virtual memory or move it to another hard drive, reduce the size of your recycle bin, you can turn off restore points but not advisable.

The N and H version, I have absolutely no idea what they are.  I check on Google and Microsoft and nothing definitive turned up.  Go to here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/cc442495.aspx?ITPID=sprblog scroll down to the bottom and select the language of your choice and click the arrow.  You will then need to download a downloader and your download will start.  I was able to download both versions in under 1˝ hours.

The N and E version, I have absolutely no idea what they are
The N version (it's related to Sku's):
On top of the six core editions of Windows 7, the company will be forced to add more.
I am referring to the N editions of Window aimed for the European market where the software giant has to sell Windows with Windows Media Player unbundled. At this point in time Microsoft is offering Windows Vista Home Basic N and Windows Vista Business N. The N flavor will also continue to live with Windows 7. Microsoft will have to offer at least one N edition, with Windows 7 Professional N as a strong candidate, but my best guess is that the company will offer at least another SKU in an N variant, meaning that the lineup of Windows 7 SKUs will feature at least seven if not eight items.

Windows 7 Enterprise E is an European version as well.. the Browser issue...(No IE8 or) a multiple Browser choice..

It's an .iso for sure.

Did you try to change your bootup settings??

Use F8 at startup and choose your Dvd drive and install will proceed.

Or when not change Bios settings by hitting Del (or F2) and entering the Bios,
select at Boot options the Dvd drive as first.

Re: Microsoft offering 90-day free trial of Windows 7 Enterprise RTM for download
« Reply #22 on: September 09, 2009, 06:56:15 PM »
I tried downloading both the 64 and 32, when the download was finish I got this error message:

"The download is done but Download Manager could not perform some final integrity tests. Check the file and download again if necessary."

Anybody know what is going on?

Thanks!

Not sure why but you may have to turn off your antivirus and any fire wall and give it a try.

No.  This is not true.  It is only for IT Professionals.  MS will not give it to us ordinary folk.

It will work fine for anyone if you put in the correct info, this is what I did and it worked twice.

Tell them your an IT worker,

Put a check in Evaluate w7, and in test my hardware with w7.

I just don't know how long it will be there to download.

Is there a way to choose another version of Win7, i.e. Ultimate, Home, etc. by deleting the "cfg" file with this Enterprise trial?
