There have been some rumors about the next version of Windows 8 which would be named as Windows blue or maybe Windows vNext but, now a new image has appeared showing the setup installer version and build number which shows the 6.2.9200.20500.

Canouna on WinUnleaked has posted a new screenshot of the setup installer of build 9200.20500 and he says it to be the delta build of Windows 8 which has got many new hot fixes and updates. He says the new build to be updated daily with hotfixes and bugfixes.

Before that we have already seen a previous build 9200.16384 which also got many hotfixes but, that was the internal build. Microsoft seems to be getting the next version of Windows 8 ready which according to a rumor would be a Service Pack not a full version which would get some new features instead of total revamp.

Canouna also mentions that to be the service pack available around the holiday season but, which one he didn’t mentioned. If, its upcoming holiday season then it would be a miracle as Microsoft can’t provide a new SP in few months or maybe it can, who knows?

This new build is either the next version of Windows or simply a service pack, time will tell and we can’t hear officially from Microsoft before the launch of Windows 8 on October 26.
