New Microsoft Ad Looks Like A Precursor To Windows 10 Campaign
« on: February 18, 2015, 04:17:44 AM »
Microsoft have just released a new ad, and this rather lengthy commercial seems to herald the upcoming Windows 10 marketing campaign that is sure to get underway later this year.

The video focuses on the foundation of the operating system, and how Windows 10 provides a more personal experience. Interestingly, the upcoming OS is not named here, though the advertisement does refer to building a new operating system.

What else could it be, right?

Dubbed ‘Do Great Things’, the ad clocks in at 75 seconds.

No idea whether Redmond plans to run this on television, as networks typically run ads that are 30, 60 or 90 seconds in length. But the production values are there on this new commercial, and the company may just decide to give it a run.

At the very least, the software titan will give this clip a push on the web and other mediums.

But more importantly, we can expect similar campaigns for Windows 10, and Microsoft will probably position its new operating system as a personal experience, thanks to integration of Cortana and other such connected services. No better time than now to do so.

Take a look at this ad above, one of the better such efforts from Redmond, and leave your comment below on what you think about it.
