Quick Actions in the Notifications and Action Center of Windows 10 lets you perform actions quickly on your often accesses functions or features. These could be All settings, Connect, Battery saver, VPN, Bluetooth, Brightness, Note, Tablet Mode, Wi-Fi or Quiet Hours. You can select or choose the Quick Actions you want to be displayed here.

Choose Quick Actions to display in Notification Area of Windows 10

To set you preferences, open the Windows 10 Settings app, click on System and then on Notifications & actions, to open the following window.

Here under Quick Actions, you can choose your Quick Actions.

When you click on the All Settings ‘Gear’ icon, you will see a list of app icons in the pop-up that you can select and set to appear on the Lock Screen and give you Quick Actions.

Select the app you want displayed and it will get selected and it will replace the settings icon.

Similarly, if you click on any other app icon, you will again see a pop-up, from which you can select an app, which you want displayed on the Lock Screen.

This way, you can select up to four apps, which will display Quick Actions on the Windows 10 lock screen.

Tip: Go down a bit and you will see two settings, Show notifications on the lock screen and Show alarms, reminders and incoming WOIP calls on the lock screen. Move the slider to ‘On’ position, to show notifications on your lock screen too.

This way, you can choose the Quick Actions to display in Windows 10 Notification Area.
