Jide Remix is one of the most interesting tablets on the market, particularly thanks to its software, that makes Android more desktop-like. Now there’s a Jide Remix Pro out there and it was spotted and handled at Computex 2016 by the folks of Notebook Italia.

The very same device was showcased at CES 2016, but this version has been revamped. We’re dealing with a 2 in 1 unit, that was shown at the Qualcomm booth from Computex. This makes sense, seeing how it integrates the Snapdragon 652 CPU inside. The core concept stays the same as the Jide Remix, a detachable tablet with a dock keyboard and pogo pins, but this time we get a magnesium frame in the mix.

Remix Pro measures less than 7 mm in waistline and weighs around 650 grams, being more compact than the predecessor. Jide also included a Remix key on the keyboard, that has the same functionality as a Windows key. The Snapdragon 652 CPU will work in tandem with a 2K resolution 12 inch IPS screen and other specs include 3 GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, WiFi dual band, MU-MIMO, 4G LTE and an 8 megapixel camera at the back.

A full USB port made the cut, as well as an USB Type C used for charging. Remix Pro runs on Remix OS 3.0, based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow this time, but feeling very similar to Remix OS 2.0. We don’t have a price just yet.
