Samsung Working On The Galaxy TabPro S2 Windows 10 Tablet
« on: August 29, 2016, 09:03:16 PM »
Sounds like Samsung’s venture into the Windows 10 tablet domain has been a success, as there are reports that the Galaxy TabPro S2 is in development over at the Korean company.

You may recall that it was eight months back that Samsung unveiled its Galaxy TabPro S — a tablet that came installed with Windows 10 and featured a detachable keyboard. Many figured it as just another Surface clone, however, the device was more than that.

It was an ultralight and compact machine, with top of the line build quality, an excellent screen to go with some fairly powerful internal components.

Now, there is talk that the hardware giant is preparing an updated versions of this tablet, and plans to throw in the newest Intel processors and even LTE connectivity into the mix.

Details on this new device are scarce, but apparently it might come in four SKUs. This is an educated guess based on the model version numbers. It is also expected to feature a 12-inch S-AMOLED display, as well as the metallic build of the original.

Samsung is also said to be planning to make use of the seventh generation Intel Core M processors, which are on track to debut later this year.

Coupling this with the fact that the original is still less than a year old, the Galaxy TabPro S2 will probably only be unveiled in early 2017, though the launch plans can change any time.

For the time being, we do know that Samsung is planning more Windows 10 goodness, even if it comes in the form of tablets and hybrids, if not phones and phablets.
