Since Robert Kirkman created the critically-acclaimed comic book series back in 2003, The Walking Dead went to become a hugely popular media franchise, including a TV show broadcasted on AMC, and a series of episodic video games from Telltale Games. And if you happen to be a fan of both media properties, then Microsoft might have an interesting deal for you on the Windows Store (via Neowin).

For a limited time, you can buy Season 7 of The Walking Dead TV show on the Windows Store and get The Walking Dead: A New Frontier game episodes 1 & 2 for free on your Windows 10 PC. The free game bonus ($9.99 value) is offered with both the HD Season pass ($41.99) or the cheaper SD version ($26.99), which include the nine Season 7 episodes plus three extras.

The first two episodes of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier originally released on the Windows Store a little more than two months ago and received positive reviews. For those unfamiliar, the episodic game from Telltale Games is set in the same apocalyptic universe but follows a completely different storyline, with an original cast of characters and a great emphasis on player’s choices.

Overall, this Windows Store offer is a pretty interesting experiment where different types of media can be bundled together to deliver more value to fans. So, if you have yet to play the game, this deal is a good opportunity to do so. This offer will be available throughApril 3rd, and following your purchase you’ll receive the download codes for each game episode in your email inbox within a week.
