Cities: Skylines is coming to Xbox One in Spring 2017
« on: February 16, 2017, 10:04:26 PM »

Cities: Skylines, a popular city-building game from developer Colossal Order will be released on the Xbox One in Spring 2017 (via Eurogamer). The game was first released on Steam, for PC, back in 2015 and quickly emerged as a solid competitor to Maxis’ latest SimCity game.

According the developer, the Xbox One edition of the game has been optimized for controllers and will include the first expansion called After Dark. You can find below the game’s official description and first trailer:

Quote
Cities: Skylines – Xbox One Edition puts you in charge of a growing city – from the ground-breaking of its first streets to the ever-changing needs of thousands of citizens. Design, build, and manage the city of your dreams, from public services to civic policies, and challenge yourself to grow from a simple town to a bustling metropolitan hub.

No word on pricing yet, but as an indication the Windows version of Cities: Skylines can be purchased for $29.99 as of today. Following the recent release of Doodle God: Ultimate Edition and Fallout Shelter on the Xbox Store, we’re looking forward to see how the city-building game looks and plays on the Xbox One. In any case, it’s really great to see that more diverse games are being released on the gaming console this year.
