Microsoft has released firmware updates for the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book. These firmware updates are all overall aimed at improving system stability and performance in both devices. For the Surface Book, Microsoft is working on improving the standby battery life and ensuring the reliability of the experience on start up. With the Surface Pro 4, Microsoft is also working on improving start up stability as well as the performance of the built in SSD.
