Microsoft has been releasing quite a lot of Windows 10 builds to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring ahead of the Creators Update release. Over the past couple of months, Microsoft has been adding a lot of new features along with a handful of improvements to the OS.

Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring were one of the first users to be able to use the new additions in Windows 10, but Insiders in the Slow Ring weren’t able to try out much of the new stuff yet. The last PC build Microsoft released to the Windows Insiders in the Slow Ring was build 14986 — and that was released back in December 2016. Redmond released a new Mobile build for the Slow Ring recently, and they are finally releasing build 15048 of Windows 10 PCs to Insiders in the Slow Ring.

Windows 10 Creators Update has picked up a ton of new features since December 2016. One of the notable new additions includes the new Game Mode and built-in Game Broadcasting features. Microsoft also added a new Pick Up Where You Left Off feature to Cortana, along with a set of other new improvements for the personal assistant.

There’s also a new onboarding experience which has Cortana built-in. Windows 10 also got a built-in F.lux alternative called “Night Light” which will help you sleep better at night by reducing the amount of blue light produced by your display, and there’s also a new Picture-in-Picture mode available for UWP apps such as the Movies & TV App in Windows 10.

Microsoft will provide a full list of new features that’s coming with build 15048 to Windows Insiders in the Slow Ring. We’ll make sure to let you know when the official changelog is available — but you can find the changelogs for all of the builds that were released after build 14986 here.
