Razer’s latest Chroma-infused new gaming mouse has just been revealed, and it’s ready to take the wireless mouse market by storm.

The Razer Lancehead gaming mouse

The Lancehead is a brand new mouse that solves all the connectivity problems you might have ever experienced when using a typical wireless mouse. With it, it’s obvious the company has put all its efforts into offering gamers a solid wireless option.

The Lancehead packs a 16,000 DPI sensor able to track 210 inches per second. Nine of Razer’s well-known mechanical mouse switches can be found on this and offer a tactile feel. Its adjustable Chroma lighting accents feature throughout the Lancehead’s build to match the rest of the setup. All the settings can be synced through Razer’s Synapse software.

Adaptive Frequency Technology

The essential feature of the Lancehead is what Razer has named Adaptive Frequency Technology (AFT). The company is promising gamers “100% transmission stability” with ATF thanks to how it constantly scans frequency channels for any form of interference. If detected, the AFT will automatically switch frequency on the fly to keep its signal as clean as possible.

We’ll just have to wait and see if Razer’s AFT technology is going to live up to the promises the company has made, but the Lancehead is already looking extremely tempting — especially if you’re into this company’s aggressive type of design.

The Lancehead will start shipping in May for $140, with a wired version of the mouse available for $80. You can learn more information about this device and sign up for availability notifications on Razer’s official website.
