Samsung recently revealed two brand new gaming monitors featuring High Dynamic Range (HDR) and QLED quantum dot technology. This tech supports approximately 125% of the sRGB color spectrum and 95% of the Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI-P3) motion picture standard to deliver a wide color range.

Samsung’s CHG90’s features

The first monitor, the CHG90, features a 32:9 aspect ratio and 3,840×1080 double full HD (DFHD) resolution across a 49-inch screen. This is the widest monitor included in Samsung’s portfolio so far. It is also a curved monitor able to deliver an ultra-wide 178-degree viewing angle and an amazing 1,800R curvature.

It supports a fast refresh rate of 144Hz and 1ms motion picture response time (MPRT) with advanced four-channel scanning tech. This will be able to deter motion blur and it will produce a more consistent picture across the entire screen during a users’ gaming sessions. The monitor will turn out to be the perfect choice for first-person shooting, racing, heavy action games, and flight simulations.

The Samsung CHG90 is already available for pre-order on Amazon for $1,499.99 and will be released on June 30 this year.

Samsung’s CHG70’s features

The CHG70 will come in two variants: 27 and 31-inch. The monitors will sport a 144Hz refresh rate and will be able to offer an amazing experience during gaming sessions. They will support a maximum of 600nit peak brightness and they’ll come with 2,560×1,440 WQHD resolution. The monitors will feature AMD’s latest Radeon FreeSync 2 tech which will help eliminate stuttering during gameplay. It will also support a wide color gamut to showcase HDR content with twice the perceivable brightness and color than the ones that are offered by the sRGB standard.
