Initially, there will be two processors in this series: Ryzen Threadripper 1950X and Ryzen Threadripper 1920X.

Ryzen Threadripper 1950X comes with 16 cores and 32 threads, but it also delivers a 3.4 GHz base clock and a 4.0 GHz boost. AMD has priced the Ryzen Threadripper 1950X at USD $999, it is $700 less than the equivalent Intel Core i9-7960X chip. Check out the video below to see both processors offering more performance than the Intel’s flagship processors. Also, both the 1950X and 1920X features 64 lanes of PCIe with support for up to four GPUs and they are unlocked for overclocking.  Both Ryzen Threadripper processors will be on available in early August 2017.
