The Surface app available in Windows Store acts as a companion app for all Surface device owners. Surface users can use this app to customize settings related to Surface devices and accessories. Yesterday, Microsoft updated this app in Windows Store with a new feature.

Previously, if you want to check battery level of your Surface Pen, you need to go to Pen section in the app and check the battery level. With this update, Microsoft has added a dedicated battery level page where you can check battery level for all Surface accessories. It is important to note that only Microsoft’s own Surface accessories will be listed in this page.

You can download the updated app here from Windows Store.
