Every year Microsoft hosts an event at Gamescom where they announce various games and other technologies. We’re expecting a few surprises from Gamescom 2017 which should be revealed as the day goes by.

The biggest news has to be that Xbox One X preorders are expected to go live. Another interesting reveal will probably be the gorgeous Xbox One S Minecraft console. Be sure to look below as we’ll detail all the announcements in the order they occur.

ASSASSIN’S CREED ORIGINS



Assassin’s Creed Origins got a new trailer which looks absolutely stunning and reveals all of the interesting characters like Caesar and Cleopatra we’ll encounter throughout our adventure.

PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is coming to Xbox One in late 2017. The title is expected to be an Xbox Game Preview experience. Microsoft is publishing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox One.

JURASSIC WORLD EVOLUTION



The game is a park-building experience which is coming to Xbox One in summer 2018. It looks like a lot of fun and might just be your next obsession if you love games like Aven Colony or Cities: Skylines.

XBOX ONE X ENHANCED



Aaron Greenberg announced that Quantum Break would get a 4K update. They’re going to release a list today which lists all the games that take advantage of Xbox One X which includes over 100 titles. Games like Kinect: Disneyland Adventures, Kinect Rush: A Disney-Pixar Adventure, World of Tanks and Zoo Tycoon are also getting upgraded for Xbox One X.

RECORE: DEFINITIVE EDITION



ReCore: Definitive Edition was officially confirmed at Gamescom 2017. The ReCore: Definitive Edition includes a massive expansion where we learn more about the tiny, cute robot named Violet.

HALO WARS 2

Halo Wars 2 is getting a new expansion on September 26. Get ready to fight the Flood soon!

XBOX GAME PASS

ReCore: Definitive Edition and a few other games are coming to Xbox Game Pass soon.

TRANSFERRING GAMES

Microsoft will allow gamers to transfer games directly from their Xbox One to Xbox One X. The two consoles will probably connect thought the ethernet cable in order to achieve this.

XBOX DESIGN LAB

Xbox Design Lab is expanding to more countries today.

Microsoft showed off a lot of smaller games coming to Xbox One soon. While the majority of the titles were ones we’ve seen before, some games like Unruly Heroes surprised everyone.

SEA OF THIEVES

Sea of Thieves will feature cross-play between Xbox One and Windows 10.
