One of the main reasons PC buyers will be opting for more powerful (and more expensive) hardware this Christmas will be support for Windows Mixed Reality headsets.

Even the lowest configuration require at least a Core i5 processor, and there are specific requirements about which ports and even which level of Bluetooth your PC needs.

To help buyers through this process Microsoft has devices a sticker program for Windows Mixed Reality Ready PCs, at its basic and Ultra level, which deliver 90 fps video.

Microsoft has certified 37 PCs and laptops so far, with more to come.

The minimum specs for each level is below.



PCs with the sticker will start showing up this holiday season.
