Tanoshi is a name you haven’t heard of before, but odds are that you’ll remember it because it stands for a brand new kid friendly hybrid between a tablet and laptop. Tanoshi runs on Android and has a 10-inch screen.

They can approve or deny installs, review the time spent on individual apps and more. The company that came up with the product has roots in Silicon Valley and has been founded by professionals in consumer electronics, software development, mobile, and education. A Kickstarter campaign for the product will begin on September 14th, by the way.

If you’re wondering about specs, the device packs a 10.1 inch HD touchscreen, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a 5-megapixel main camera. There’s also a 2 MP front shooter, a 5000 mAh battery and dual stereo speakers. A quad core 64 bit CPU makes everything tick. The physical keyboard gets attached easily when it’ needed. Available in pink, blue and green, the device is priced around $200 and a bit below and it’ll be shipped from December.
