Xbox One Fall Update is now rolling out to all Xbox Insiders
« on: October 12, 2017, 03:44:30 PM »

After a couple of weeks of testing with Alpha, Beta and select Delta Insiders, the Xbox One Fall Update is now rolling out to all Xbox Insiders on the Preview Delta and Omega rings (via Windows Central). Just like the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is now available to download for all Windows Insiders, this suggests that the Xbox One Fall Update is almost ready to be released to all Xbox One owners.

At the time of this writing, all Xbox insiders can download the latest Xbox One build 1710.171009-1720. For Delta and Omega Insiders who didn’t test it yet, the Xbox One Fall Update brings a redesigned dashboard that you can customize by adding “Content Blocks,” a revamped Xbox Guide with horizontal navigation as well as a new Light Theme option that looks really nice.

The new dashboard succeed to the new Xbox One Experience introduced two years ago, and for many of you, it will probably take some time to get used to it. Over the past few weeks, the Xbox team listened to feedback from Insiders to improve the Xbox One OS, and overall the Fluent Design touches here and there are a nice improvement over the previous design.

There are still a couple of known issues with this build related to Tournaments, Avatars on Home and the Netflix app, but the Xbox team will hopefully fix all of them before rolling out the Fall Update to everyone. There is no timeline yet for the public rollout, but we guess it will be pretty close to the release of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update on October 17.
