It has been over a year since Google started testing their highly mysterious Fuchsia OS and recent reports suggest that the company is taking another step to test it on Pixelbook.

The OS was created by Google with the help from open-sourced developer community but we still don’t know the exact motive behind the new OS.

The OS works by using two host machines and one Pixelbook as the target machine to install the Operating System. Fuchsia was made for IoT and wearables but Google choosing Pixelbook to experiment suggest that company might be planning big for the Operating System.

The Operating System is based on Zircon microkernel which is different than the Linux Kernal used in Android and Chrome OS. This suggests that the company might be planning something entirely different than the existing projects.

Either way, we are still not sure what Google has planned for Fuchsia OS but things will get clear as we move closer to the end product.
