At CES 2018, Razer today revealed world’s first battery-less wireless gaming mouse with the Razer Mamba HyperFlux and Razer Firefly HyperFlux power mat.
Unlike other wireless mice out there, Razer HyperFlux tech allows the mouse mat to create a magnetic field that transfers power directly to its companion mouse instead of charging a battery. Since there is no battery inside it, the mouse becomes an ultra-lightweight accessory.
For great signal strength, this mouse is equipped with Razer’s proprietary Adaptive Frequency Technology (AFT) that ensures wireless signal stability between the mouse and computer by adaptively scanning and switching to the strongest signal within the 2.4 GHz frequency band.
And it features a 16,000 dots-per-inch (DPI) 5G optical sensor for precise control. The mat features a dual-sided hard and cloth surface so that gamers can use the hard side for speedy mouse actions or the cloth side for control and precision aiming. Like most of the accessories from Razer, Razer Chroma lighting technology is built into these accessories for customizable lighting profiles and in-game effects.
