Back in October, Huawei launched its new flagship Android device range: the Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Pro. At CES 2018, Huawei yesterday announced that Microsoft Stores in the US will start selling Mate 10 Pro and Porsche Design HUAWEI Mate 10 from next month.
The HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro will be available unlocked for USD $799 in Midnight Blue, Titanium Grey and Mocha Brown beginning February 18. The new Porsche Design HUAWEI Mate 10 will be available for $1,225 beginning February 18.
The Mate 10 Pro comes with a 6-inch FullView display with a resolution of 6-inch 2160×1080 pixels, 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, Huawei’s own Kirin 970 CPU, a 4,000mAh battery and Leica Dual Camera with SUMMILUX-H lenses on the back.
Huawei also teamed up with Porsche Design to build a different design for the Mate 10 Pro which comes with 256GB of storage. It combines Porsche Design’s aesthetic craft with Huawei’s mobile engineering expertise. Its unique front and back cover design are entirely encased in elegant yet robust glass and come in a luxurious and exclusive Diamond Black color. Both are unlocked devices and they will operate on GSM networks in the U.S. including AT&T, T-Mobile, Cricket, MetroPCS, Simple Mobile, and Tracfone.
These devices come pre-installed with a couple of Microsoft services. First one is the Microsoft Translator app which makes uses of the new Neural Processing Unit in these devices to translate content offline. The second one is a major one, Huawei has integrated LinkedIn directly into the OS. All new EMUI 8 users can connect their LinkedIn account to their Huawei smartphones to see the latest profile information about their professional contacts directly in the native phone address book.
