Larry Hryb has announced three more games joining the Xbox One backward compatibility program starting today. This time they are Spec Ops: The Line, The Darkness II, and The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom.

Spec Ops: The Line is a third-person shooter that released in 2012. It was praised for its portrayal of war and the themes it explored through its narrative. Unfortunately for 2K Games, it didn’t sell as well as the company had hoped. The Darkness II is another game published by 2K Games, this time a first-person shooter. In it you control Jackie Estacado, a mafia hitman who wields a supernatural force known as The Darkness. Lastly, The Misadventures of PB Winterbottom is a puzzle platformer that first released on Xbox Live Arcade.

Now that the holidays are over, the program should be ramping back up with frequent announcements of more backward compatible games. This will likely be the last batch announced this month unless we get some more tomorrow just before February begins.
