Microsoft is today releasing a new update for Windows 10 version 1703 (Creators Update) with several new improvements and bug fixes.

As expected, the direct download links for Windows 10 KB4077528 is now available, and it can be used to upgrade your computer without active internet connection.

Windows 10 KB4077528 offline installer can be downloaded from Microsoft’s Update Catalog, you can however always update your system from the Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update. Today’s update pushes the operating system to Build 15063.936, and comes with general improvements, along with bug fixes.

This is the second update released to supported Windows 10 devices in February. Build 15063.936’s focus is on non-security changes, including improvements to the start menu. The changes in this update are aimed at various fixes, for example, Microsoft has fixed an issue where applications cannot read or write attributes of windows.

The update fixes an issue with Internet Explorer where the browser won’t respond to user’s input. Microsoft is also addressing another issue where the Device Gaurd may fail to function when certain rules are active, this basically causes the system to stop working or responding.

Another issue where members of the Performance Log Users group receive an error message has been fixed, the company explains that the error “Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))” was displayed when users were trying to schedule the logging improvements.

The previous update for Windows 10 version 1703 landed on Patch Tuesday and it was more focused on improvements for consumers, while this one seems to be an update for enterprises and businesses as the changes made to the Windows 10 operating system won’t improve the user experience. One of the important changes included in this update is a fix for unresponsive start menu that has been one of the most frustrating bugs experienced by users after upgrading to Windows 10 Creators Update.

We are not aware of any issues after installing this update.
