Microsoft releases new firmware update for Surface Pro 3 that resolves Meltdown

Microsoft yesterday released a new firmware update for Surface Pro 3 devices. This update includes new firmware for Surface UEFI resolves security vulnerabilities including the Meltdown and Spectre.

Surface UEFI (v3.11.2350.0) resolves potential security vulnerabilities, including Microsoft security advisory 180002.

You can update it through Windows Update or you can also manually update the firmware by downloading it from the Surface Pro 3 Drivers and Firmware Page.
