Every week, numerous games launch on Xbox One, but which ones truly stand out? Here are some of the biggest and most anticipated titles launching across Microsoft's platforms next week.



Next week we have one new "AAA" release on Xbox One, but there are still a few surprises here and there. Notably, No Man's Sky is finally launching on the console, and The Banner Saga 3 is a great improvement over the previous games. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching next week, between July 23 and July 27, 2018.

No Man's Sky



No Man's Sky is a science fiction adventure set across an infinite universe, in which every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. In this procedurally-generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other player has seen before. However, a mystery lies at the center of the galaxy, an irresistible pulse that draws you on a voyage to discover the true nature of the universe. The title was previously a popular PlayStation 4 console exclusive.

No Man's Sky should launch on July 24, priced at $49.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements.



Aces of the Luftwaffe: Squadron



Aces of the Luftwaffe: Squadron is a popular Nintendo Switch exclusive that's making the jump to Xbox One next week. The game is an action-packed shoot 'em up with a voiced narrative. Players dodge bullets, collect massive power-ups, and use special abilities to defeat waves of enemies. The goal is to upgrade each member of your squadron with their personal skill tree as you level up.

Remothered: Tormented Fathers



Remothered: Tormented Fathers is a survival horror game. According to the developer, the story revolves around Rosemary Reed who investigates the disappearance of a girl named Celeste. However, even Reed's motives are questionable.

Remothered: Tormented Fathers should launch on July 25, priced at 29.99.

Candle: The Power of Flame



Candle: The Power of Flame is one of the most unique-looking games on Xbox One. The visuals are made from real watercolors. Players step into the shoes of Teku, a young novice on a dangerous journey to rescue his tribe's shaman from a rival tribe. Unfortunately, the journey is littered with numerous puzzles and traps.

Candle: The Power of Flame should launch on July 25, priced at $19.99. Those who preorder can purchase it for $15.99.



Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 2



Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 2 includes all eight titles in the Mega Man X saga. The package features two separate downloads. You can test your skills in the new "X Challenge" mode which pits you against two bosses at the same time. Just like Rare Replay, you can explore a digital museum filled with production art, classic merchandise, and commercials.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 2 should launch on July 24, priced at $39.99. Those who preorder can purchase it for $35.99.



The Banner Saga 3



The Banner Saga 3 is the final chapter of the Viking role-playing series. As the world continues to crumble around you, who can you trust, how will you protect your allies. and what choices will you make as the "Darkness" draws near? The game is a substantial improvement over its predecessors due to the number of refinements it brings to the table.

The Banner Saga 3 should launch on July 26, priced at $24.99. The Banner Saga Trilogy: Bonus Edition should launch a day later at physical retail.



Bud Spencer & Terence Hill — Slaps and Beans



Bud Spencer and Terence Hill are incredibly popular actors who have performed in a variety of shows. This is their first virtual adventure! This game is a co-op beat 'em up with platforming elements, lots of hilarious conversation, and gratuitous violence.

Super Blackjack Battle II: Turbo Edition — The Card Warriors



Super Blackjack Battle II: Turbo Edition — The Card Warriors is a strange game in the best possible way. The title focuses on poker but it's much more than that. A roster of twelve very different characters compete to become the greatest blackjack player of all time. As expected, there's a lot of treachery and deception along the way.

Super Blackjack Battle II: Turbo Edition — The Card Warriors should launch on July 25, priced at $7.99. Those who preorder can purchase it for $6.39.



Other experiences like The Council: Episode 3 — Ripples, Gene Rain, Radiant One, and Train Sim World should also release next week.

These are the biggest games launching soon, and many of them seem like absolutely thrilling experiences. Be sure to check out The Banner Saga 3 and No Man's Sky because they appear to be the most unique games out of the lot.
