Microsoft rolls out Cumulative Updates for Windows 7 users

Microsoft has been releasing frequent cumulative updates for Windows 10 updates. The company went on and released cumulative updates for Windows 7 users today.

The update (KB4457139) comes with bug fixes and improvements for Windows 7. You can check out the changelog for the update below.

• Addresses an issue with evaluating the compatibility status of the Windows ecosystem to help ensure application and device compatibility for all updates to Windows.

•Addresses an issue with the diagnostic pipeline for devices enrolled in Windows

when the CommercialID registry key, “HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\DataCollection” is present.

• Addresses a memory leak issue that occurs when a device with a multilingual UI calls the LoadString API.

• Addresses an issue in which all Guest Virtual Machines running Unicast NLB fail to respond to NLB requests after the Virtual Machines restart.

You can head to Settings > Update and Security >Windows Update to download the latest update. Alternatively, you can also download it manually from the Windows Update Catalog as well.
