Microsoft recently leaked a language pack for their Andromeda device, which gives us a look at the text strings used in the operating system.

That pack has now been made publicly available, courtesy of WalkingCat and aggiornamentilumia.it, and can be seen at Pastebin here.

As we reported earlier, the data makes it very clear the dual-screen device Microsoft is working on is a phone, being able to make proper cellular phone calls, featuring a dialer and being referred to as a phone a number of times in the text.

The resources however also make reference to a Productivity mode mediated by the Productivity Companion composer.

The text appears to suggest when connected to an external screen the device could either enter Presenter Mode for presenting items or Productivity Mode.

It also appears this docking can be done over Miracast, with another entry noting:

+ The accessory you’re connecting to isn’t working properly with Continuum. A
firmware update might help.
It has earlier been speculated that the presence of these Andromeda language packs in the store suggests that the project is still progressing. With Microsoft’s raison d’etre being Productivity, it seems the product may have found a reason itself to continue to exist after all.
