Every week, numerous games launch on Xbox One, but which ones truly stand out? Here are some of the biggest and most anticipated titles launching across Microsoft's platforms next week.

Next week we have a few new "AAA" releases on Xbox One, but there are still a few surprises here and there. Notably, Hitman 2 is finally launching on the console, and World of Final Fantasy Maxima offers an interesting take on the popular series. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching next week, between November 5 and November 9, 2018.

Hitman 2: Gold Edition

Agent 47 embarks on a mission to hunt the elusive Shadow Client and unravel his militia once and for all. However, when he learns the hidden truth about his past, nothing will ever be the same. The game also introduces new ways to play with the Sniper Assassin mode, a standalone feature that brings a co-op experience to the Hitman series. It's available right now if you've preordered the game.

Hitman 2: Gold Edition should launch on November 9, priced at $99.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements. The other editions of Hitman 2 should launch on November 13.

World of Final Fantasy Maxima

A few weeks ago, Square Enix announced that it's bringing a wide range of Final Fantasy games to Xbox One. The first one to release is World of Final Fantasy Maxima. World of Final Fantasy Maxima features a number of characters from Final Fantasy lore and a multitude of collectible monsters.

World of Final Fantasy Maxima should launch on November 6, priced at $39.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements.

Grip: Combat Racing

According to the developers, Grip: Combat Racing is a high-octane, hardcore combat racer, packing ferocious speeds and gravity-defying physics, alongside a bristling arsenal of outlandish weapons. The title looks absolutely insane and anyone who's a fan of titles like Destruction Derby should find this game appealing.

Grip: Combat Racing should launch on November 6, priced at $39.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements. The title will also be available for free to Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

Ark: Survival Evolved - Extinction

Ark: Survival Evolved is a first-person game which focuses on, you guessed it, survival. You have to gather resources and eventually become the master of the environment. In a few days, the game's developer will release a new map which takes players to Earth. The team says that Earth is now an Element-infested, ravaged planet filled with fantastical creatures. Our home holds both the secrets of the past and the keys to its salvation. The goal is to defeat the gigantic roaming Titans which dominate the planet and complete the Ark cycle to save everyone.

Ark: Survival Evolved - Extinction should launch on November 6. The game features Xbox One X enhancements.

Other experiences like Brawlhalla, Chasm, Doodle God: Crime City, Ride 3, and The Shapeshifting Detective should also release next week.

These are the biggest games launching soon, and many of them seem like absolutely thrilling experiences. Be sure to check out Hitman 2 and Ark: Survival Evolved - Extinction because they appear to be the most unique games out of the lot.
