Microsoft yesterday announced the new Sport Red Special Edition Xbox Wireless Controller. It is the second controller in the Sport Series. This red color controller features metallic red and silver accents on the front of the controller as well as a metallic red D-pad. You can also find red diamond rubberized grips on the back of the controller for increased comfort.

To match the special edition controller’s red color, Microsoft also announced Sports Red Special Edition Xbox Pro Charging Stand. This Xbox Pro Charging Stand comes with a battery cover, rechargeable battery, and a 6-foot power cord.

The Xbox Wireless Controller – Sports Red Special Edition will be available for $69.99 worldwide from March 5. Sports Red Special Edition Xbox Pro Charging Stand will be available starting May 1 for $49.99 USD in the US.
