Lenovo’s next flagship smartphone, the Z6 Pro is set to be officially introduced at an event in China tomorrow. Just a day before the smartphone’s official unveiling, Lenovo Vice President Chang Cheng has confirmed some of its key features in a post on Weibo. Additionally, a promo video highlighting the low-light camera performance of the smartphone has been shared by Lenovo on its official Weibo page.
Lenovo Z6 Pro Key Specs Revealed Ahead of Launch The Weibo post by Lenovo Vice President Chang Cheng confirms the company’s next flagship smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform. Unlike the Z5 Pro GT, however, the Z6 Pro is said to feature PC-class liquid cooling to ensure superior performance. Lenovo has coupled the powerful 7nm chipset with a whopping 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. The Lenovo Z6 Pro will be identical to the Z5 Pro GT in terms of display size as well. It will sport a 6.39-inch display featuring a sixth-generation In-display fingerprint sensor and a tiny U-shaped notch at the top.
click to enlarge In the camera department, Lenovo Z6 Pro will be a massive upgrade over its predecessor. The flagship smartphone will have a 48MP 16MP 8MP 2MP AI quad-camera setup at the rear with Hyper Video support. As suggested by official teasers recently, the smartphone will be able to output 100MP resolution images. As for selfies, the Lenovo Z6 Pro will have a 32MP resolution snapper with several AI enhancements. Apart from improved optics, the next Lenovo flagship will be quite impressive in the battery life department as well. While the Z5 Pro GT packs a 3350mAh battery, the Z6 Pro will be fueled by a significantly larger 4000mAh capacity battery. Similar to Lenovo’s latest P10 and M10 tablets, the Z6 Pro will have Dolby Panoramic Sound support, allowing it to deliver 360-degree sound field. In terms of software, the smartphone will be running on ZUI 11 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
