After asking users to discover the hidden Surf game to reveal the new Edge browser logo, Microsoft has recently integrated the game into the Chromium Edge browser in Dev and Canary versions with three new gaming modes and plenty of new features. The Edge Surf game available at the edge://surf page works even offline on any page similar to Chrome T-rex (chrome://dino has additional arcade mode).Till now Nijacat is part of Windows 10 as an emoji and it has been widely used by Windows insiders and fans to create Ninjacat wallpapers, it’s now part of the Edge surf game as well though it doesn’t appear. You can take this as an easter egg containing another easter egg.

Edge developers have done their bit to create the game, its time to wear Ninjacat avatar and do the surfing. Please note score won’t be counted as you’re playing this for fun, hope you may not mind it.

Want to surf as a ninja cat in the Edge browser? You need to use secret code on the game page (when online) or on any page when not connected to the Internet. In the past Opera browser allowed its users to enable power user settings through Konami code.

1. Launch Edge dev/Canary

2. Visit edge://surf page

3. Hold your self from pressing the spacebar or using the mouse, press ” up up down down left right left right b a” (↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → b a) keys on the keyboard to enter to activate Ninjacat code where Edge it self confirms about the same and says your score won’t be measured for this round.
