Some more information on Microsoft's next version of Windows have appeared online today, this time revealing details about how upgrading editions in Windows 8 work. Currently, they work rather like they do in Windows 7, although not all editions include Windows Media Center.

WinUnleaked.tk have posted more information about Microsoft's upcoming version of Windows. Today, the blog revealed details about upgrade options from different editions of Windows 8, the blog upgrades Windows 8 Pro to Windows 8 Pro Pack.

Remember, the names of these editions are yet to be finalized and therefore is subject to change into more consumer-able names.

Since this is an early development build of the new SKU's, we don't see any large changes, apart from Windows Media Center and Family Safety being implemented into the Pro Pack edition.

Once the upgrade is complete, you will be welcomed with your new features, just like in Windows 7.

This edition of Windows 8 includes a feature called Family Safety, which is originally from Windows Live.

Remember, anything seen here should be taken with a grain of salt as they haven't been confirmed by Microsoft.

Microsoft are expected to release the next development phase of Windows 8 rather soon, with rumours speculating a as early as the end of May. RTM is expected in the summer this year.
