Post by: javajolt on November 16, 2019, 05:09:26 AM
Huawei CEO Richard Yu took to Chinese social network Weibo to announce that the company will unveil new Mate series products at an event in Shanghai, China on November 25.

Yu didn't reveal what exactly these products will be, but one of them is very likely to be the MatePad Pro tablet that we've been hearing about for the past month.

Huawei hasn't officially revealed any details about the MatePad Pro yet, but thanks to its leaked images (http://i.postimg.cc/rpm9vxXg/gsmarena-003.jpg), we know it will flaunt a punch-hole display surrounded by slim bezels.

The tablet will also come with a stylus and magnetic keyboard support, and it will have a dual camera on the back joined by an LED flash.

The MatePad Pro is rumored to have a Kirin 990 SoC at the helm paired with up to 8GB RAM, and you will have at least four color options (http://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_p_smart_2020_nova_6_matepad_pro_new_renders-news-39931.php) to choose from - White, Black, Green, and Orange.

The tablet recently bagged 3C certification and in the process, the Chinese certifying authority's website revealed 40W charging support on the MatePad Pro.

Huawei may also announce a non-Pro variant of the tablet on November 25, but we'll have to wait for more information to be sure.
