Huawei MediaPad M3 Android tablet is coming to America
« on: September 30, 2016, 06:39:52 PM »
The Huawei MediaPad M3 is an 8.4 inch Android tablet with the same processor that powers the company’s Honor 8 smartphone. But the tablet has a bigger, higher-resolution display, a battery good for 11 hours of run time, and options or WiFi-only or LTE models.

Huawei unveiled the MediaPad M3 at the IFA show in Berlin in early September. But now the company has confirmed that the tablet is coming to the United States.

US pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but in Europe the MediaPad M3 has a starting price of €349 for a WiFi-only model with 32GB of storage. You can pay extra for up to 64GB of storage and 4G LTE support.

Each version features a 2560 x 1600 pixel IPS display, 4GB of RAM, and a 5,100 mAh battery. The tablet is powered by a Kirin 950 octa-core processor (with four ARM Cortex-A72 CPU cores and four Cortex-A53 cores plus Mali-T880 MP4 graphics).

Other features include 8MP front and rear cameras stereo speakers, 802.11ac WiFi, a microSD card slot, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s also a fingerprint sensor under the home button.
