Turn Your Laptop Into A Chrome OS Flex Chromebook

In this video, I'm doing two things in one and answering two questions. How To Install Chrome OS Flex On A Windows Laptop & How To Turn A Windows Laptop Into A Chrome OS Flex Chromebook.

Here are some links to USB flash drives & Chromebooks on Amazon, I personally use SanDisk for the important stuff.

   • SanDisk USB Flash Drives http://geni.us/SandiskUSBFlashDrives

   • Other USB Flash Drives http://geni.us/USBFlashDrives

   • Chromebooks on Amazon: http://geni.us/ChromebooksOnAmazon

This video has a very detailed and easy-to-follow step-by-step guide on how to prepare a Chrome OS Flex bootable live USB flash drive which can also be used as a USB installation flash drive, which is why I'm doing this in this video.

I also give a very detailed guide on how to actually install Chrome OS Flex and also how to select the USB flash drive as the boot device.

I then show a little use of Chrome OS Flex on the Surface GO 2 after its installation.

With the release of Google's Chrome OS Flex, we now have a fully legitimate way of installing Chrome OS onto certain Windows laptops and desktops and also certain Mac desktops and laptops.

In this example I'm using a Windows laptop/tablet, that being a Microsoft Surface Pro 2. This laptop/tablet is now getting on a bit and does run a bit slow under Windows these days, so is a prime candidate for Chrome OS.

After installing Chrome OS Flex onto the Surface Pro 2 it performed amazingly well and was really fast at booting and powering down and also very snappy with the interface. As you can see in the video I looked at a few things as far as the user interface was concerned and also the YouTube app.

The bottom line here is that Chrome OS Flex is easily good enough for most day-to-day tasks, such as certain social media stuff, video streaming with the likes of YouTube, music streaming with Spotify etc. and it's also great for writing e-mails and web browsing.

Maybe the best bit is that Chrome OS Flex breathes new life into old computers and keeps them going with good purpose. This is especially important for the planet and e-waste and is also an excellent option for those with little money to be able to have a computer and be able to access the internet and keep up to date with global news and keep in touch with family and friends.

You can basically see this tutorial as the solution on how to turn your Windows PC into a Chromebook or how to turn your Windows laptop into a Chromebook. And the same for Mac, how to turn your MacBook into a Chromebook.

Here is the link to the Chromebook Recovery Utility, this will work with Chrome on a Windows desktop or laptop and also Chrome on macOS computers such as Apple MacBook and other Mac laptops and Apple Mac desktops such as the M1 Mac Mini and older X86 Intel Mac desktop computers:
