Forum Additions

Hello Members,

I would like to draw your attention to 3 new additions instituted in the last few days which you may or might not have noticed.

1st;  Riso had been working on writing code for a Slideshow and installed it on our test forum to work out some bugs.  Late last week the Slideshow was installed on W7NI and Riso and I worked into the wee hours here on the West Coast getting the Slideshow configured for size and content. If you will cast your eyes to the upper right hand corner of any page, you will notice a Slideshow running.  I have work on making more content picture text and buttons to install in the near future.  Although there is still some work left to complete I think it is a nice addition to our forum.

2nd;  Some of you may have noticed the creation of a new Board in the Conferences & Congresses Category called Flash Memory Summit.  The Flash Memory Summit is to be held August 17-19 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in the heart of the Silicon Valley, and will cover All things pertaining to Flash Memory products and devices.  Although there are not many posts in this new board I feel sure it will start getting more activity very soon.  So Please keep your eyes on this board if you're interested in Flash Memory.

3rd;  This morning during our conference Riso and I decided to create a Board dedicated to Android Apps.  Knowing we had a board for iPhone/iPad Apps and Mobile Apps which was growing exponentially with Android Apps.  Therefore the new board was created in the Mobile Devices and Apps.  Having the Android Apps all located in a common area those of you looking for these types of Apps will no longer have to search through page after page in the Mobile Board.

The Mobile Board has been renamed Win Mobile Apps. and as you might know will hold Apps for Windows Mobile devices.

We know this forum is dedicated to Windows 7, it Installation, Configuration, and Usage, we all continue to scour the Internet for information pertaining to Windows 7 to make it better and easier to use, and in that process we come across items of interest that albeit don't pertain to Windows 7 might make some of the devices we all tend to have function that much better so to prevent our forum from stagnating it has grown all the while remaining void of Spam, Pornography, Advertisements, and continues to be FREE!

Riso and I along with our worldwide staff covering the EU, US and all of Asia continue to work for you our members and appreciate your support, participation and of course your communication.

Thank you for your time,
