Samsung has finally revealed the first ever smartphone powered by Microsofts brand new mobile OS, Windows Phone 8. Named as the ATIV S, this WP8 smartphone has all features of best phone out there from large 4.8″ HD Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass to 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM.
Windows Phone 8, the successor of Windows Phone 7 and the next flagship mobile OS by Microsoft was announced in June and the devices are expected to starting shipping in late October or in start of November. Although, Nokia was expected to be the first manufacturer to unveil the Windows Phone 8 device but, Samsung has beaten Nokia by announcing Windows Phone 8 device named as ATIV S. Nokia will be announcing new Windows Phone 8 devices on September 5 when Nokia and Microsoft are holding a press event together.

The pricing of ATIV S is still unannounced as well as the launch date but, it is expected to launch in late October or possibly start of November when most of the WP8 device will start shipping.
