As if there aren’t enough big-name game bundles coming from Microsoft.
The company has announced that it will unveil new bundles each day next week.
These will most likely be aimed at the wider audience, rather than just Halo, Forza and Call of Duty nuts.
Microsoft’s Larry Hryb tweeted the news today, as if shoppers with an Xbox One on the list don’t have enough to sort through already.
With the vast majority of console and games sales happening over the next four months, Microsoft needs to sell Xbox One’s features and the Windows 10 concept across the widest audience, so expect kids, TV fan, sports and other bundles to reach them all.
With Microsoft in a pitched battle with Sony, it definitely has the better exclusive games, but it needs huge hardware sales this season to make a dent in Sony’s growing PlayStation 4 market lead.
With that in mind, hopefully there will be a lower-cost Xbox One option or bundle to get those who can’t yet afford to move on from their Xbox 360 with the program.
