At a press event today, Xiaomi today announced the new Mi Gaming Laptop. This Mi Gaming Laptop features 15.6-inch full HD display and is powered by up to 7th Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM and up to NVIDIA GTX 1060 graphics. On the storage front, it comes with 256GB SSD+ 1TB HDD as a standard.
Xiaomi has focused on including a great cooling system to keep the device cool even during long gaming sessions. Xiaomi has also done something new called hotkey turbo cooling. When the device is too hot, you just need to press a key, which will start ultra-fast cooling, dropping the temperature of the device by up to 3-5 degree Celsius within 10 minutes.
Xiaomi has also included Hi-Res Audio 2 x 3W speakers along with Dolby Sound for great audio experience. The Mi Gaming Laptop will be on sale starting at 5999 Yuan (approx $960) for the Intel Core i5 + NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti model and the Intel Core i7 + NVIDIA GTX 1060 variant. will cost 8999 Yuan (approx $1450).
