Apple launches new ‘iPad is’ commercial

Apple launched today a new commercial for the iPad. The name of the new commercial is “iPad is” and displays a series of popular applications on the tablet device like Flipboard, Fruit Ninja HD, Pages, iBooks, Twitter.com and more. The ad comes as an answer to one of the first iPad commercials with name “What is iPad”. The naming theme of these commercials comes from a very old and successful Apple ad campaign for the first tablet device called Newton. That campaign featured three commercials in a series with names “What is Newton”, “Who is Newton” and “Where is Newton”. Based on the first iPad ad (“What is iPad”) it was speculated that Apple would produce a “Who is iPad” and “Where is iPad” commercials but it looks like the company is moving in a different direction.
